Ok so I'm selling a almost new moter and was going through and replacing all the gaskests since it has been sitting around for a while.

Anyway my pistons are pretty dirty from running so rich. I would just use some steel wool but these are Mahle graphite coated pistons. And I dont want to ruin any of the coating.
Does anyone have any experiance with these pistons?
If so what is the best method to get all the carbon off of them?
