Beware Ford Extended Warranty (ESP) SVT Motor

I do not understand, are you saying that you were going to buy a crate engine but they are refusing to provide a warranty with the crate engine?

I noticed in a recent Oasis report that they canceled my ESP warranty a year early also. Interesting...

68conv4sp - I fully agree against not purchasing an ESP or any manufacturer extended warranty service for products. As you learned, they are often a waste of money for a good portion of consumers out there.

The manufacturers create a set of guidelines with such warranty programs where they can claim a repair/part failure falls "outside the scope of coverage," so it leaves the consumer having to foot the bill/repair job.

Gotta love those "technicalities;" it makes money for the manufacturers.
