my 06 gt vert should arrive this week :nice:

my first "mod" will be swapping the stock 17" wheels for 19" foose speedsters, but i can't decide on the tires. a local tire shop recommended bfgoodrich gforce kdw2. i have read lots of good comments about the nitto 555. pirellis are an obvious choice, too. i'd like a softer compound (if possible) since the ride be a little stiffer with 19s. this will be my daily driver, and i'm not going to the track anytime soon. any suggestions?

well tire if for you size is also going to be a issue i went with the kdw because a 295 X 30 X 19 rear and a 245 X 35 X 19 front is same height as the stock tire and i couldnt find any 315xmm 19 inch tires that were the stock tire height for the rear

and since NO ONE makes a 19 inch drag radial yet i just went with kdw and ordred a second rear wheel set in 17 x 10 to put on some big drag radials for weekend fun.

You can check reviews on the tirerack. I first wanted to go with Pirelli prossa assimetrico 245/40/20, 275/40/20. But too many people said they wear way too fast and too much road noise. I'll probably be getting bfg kdw 245/40/20, 295/40/20.
