I own a 1965 mustang coupe and was wondering if anyone had any information and or pics of anyone that has dropped in a 460 big block into one of these first generation ponies.

it has been done, but the swap isnt easy. you need to swap to a mustang ll style front suspension, and remove the shock towers. if you want to use a C6 then you will need to modify the trans tunnel to fit the trans.

you wouldnt be able to provide with any articles or possibly pictures fo a car that these modifications have been done to to. would you

mustang II swap is very well documented, do a search. You can use a toploader or a C4 behind that 460, so the tunnel mods aren't necessary unless for some reason you decide to go C6. A C6 isn't necessary, especially in a little mustang. There will be lots of weight on the front end, and not much on the back, so it's gonna be tough to drive, and don't expect much in the way of traction unless you do alot of homework on suspension set up.
