Ok so spring is around the corner and i'm really hyped.
I wanna know if i'll feel a big difference from almost a stock stang (only k&n + mac o\r h-pipe) to the previous mods + 275 in the back, 255 front + 3.73 gears + complete differential rebuilt + mac u\d pulleys... I heard pulleys do wonder to our fat 5.0 ... will I notice a big diff this summer?

thanks :SNSign:

Nobody has ever said a bad thing about gears other than a bad install. SOME people have reported slow track times but it depends on a lot of things. Chances are it will make a nice big difference. My girlfriend's 93gt has 3.73's and it feels like it pulls with no effort.

You will love the gears it really wakes the car up
you did not say if you had an auto or 5spd, if auto i would go 4.10s and
if money will allow a 2200 stall. If stick the pulleys with the smog pump
delete. If not gears and pulleys i no you will be happy:D

Traction issues already? I'd wait on the tires unless the old ones are already shot.

Yes you will notice a difference with gears, hell yes. But let's be realistic for a sec. You will still want more. You will always want more. :D

You said it!

Teh car is a 5 spd, and the u\d pulleys makes a "big" diff I heard ? 10-15hp? Is it true

One of tye first mods I did to my car was the pulleys... actually it was the first mod. I did not feel SOTP increase but the car "seemed" to be smoother going up the rpm... however i'm afraid the placebo effect might be responsible... It is nice to think it help though :D

p.s. I'm from montreal and I too i'm pretty excited about this whit crap melting away :canada:

To "Feel" a difference, any mod that gives a gain of 10rwhp is gonna be subtle for some and not be felt by others.

Now to "Feel" a big difference, your gonna need a mod that yields a gain of 20rwhp or more IMHO.

A car that still has stock h/c/i is not gonna feel a big difference if you go to a bigger tb or maf due to it is flowing very little air. If you had already upgraded the h/c/i and THEN did the tb & maf, the feeling of improvment is gonna be greater due to you opening up the restriction.

See how that works and how one way the feel will be small and the other way the feel would be great.

Mods like pullies, roller rockers, cai, or any other 5 to 10rwhp gain combo part is never gonna give a big gain feel simply because the gain is sooooo small.

For a stock or slightly modded Stang, the 4 cat mid pipe or an intake are mods that will be felt and are great first mods.

You will think you've found 50 horses with those gears and they will be a lot of fun for you
