i would do a compression test first off to see if the engine is still any good.if compresion is good then you should be ok with a new tune

i understand that i have suffered detonation but is it possible that nothing was harmed in the rotary assembly and the fixing the exhaust will fix the rough idle. as soon as it started driving rough i shut her down and havent driven it again.

you should run at least 38 lb injectors...that's what i run...42s would be a better bet though

You won't know until a compression test is done. That should be your first step.

i just got 42# injectors and a lightning MAF. im going to have the car taken to a local garage to have a flow through test done on it to see if i have to replace the heads. if i do need to replace them what aftermarket heads would yall recommend. i was looking at gt40 heads from ford racing. in opinions?

you're probably losing some power with the 80mm. 75mm is right where it should be but it wont hurt anything having an 80mm just like i said you are probably losing some power with it...

If you have an exhaust leark before the oxygen sensors it makes your car run like ****. I would get that fixed and then you can order a tune from any sct dealer and they can e mail it to you. JMS Chip and Performance does it. Probably MPH and others do too. You need to do a compression test but fix the stuff you know is wrong first. You should have more like 350 hp.

i did have an exhaust leak before the 02 sensors. i took it to a exhaust shop and they said the they could get a finger between one side of it. i had them line it up but i didnt want them to start it and run it because its not running right so i wont really know if it is still leaking till i get it running better. it will run but the passenger side bank still sounds really bad.

Where did you get your maf and tune? Did they come with the supercharger kit?

MAF came with the kit. the tune came from SCT and it was dyno tuned at a local dyno that isnt worth anything.

I would do a compression test next then or send it to a shop that can do it for you. If that shows ok then send it to a dyno shop and have them data log it while its running on the dyno. Some guy said something about a shop called Amazon thats near you. Im outa ideas. Good luck.

yeah im going to do that. do you if i can calibrate the new MAF with the hand held tuner and does anyone have a suggestion on heads if they have to be replaced?

The maf can only be calibrated by the maf company. Your dyno tuner can adjust the fuel trim in the tune, which can adjust for a wrongly calibrated maf, or you can do it with the tuner but you have to hook it to your computer and use the software they give you with the tuner. I highly recomend you dont mess with this at all unless you are trained, have a wide band oxygen sensor and a dyno, or money for the new engine you will need after you accidently blow it up.

Hey "double", I would make sure you do call Rick at ATS amazonracing.com to get your tune done where it's safe.

I had my car tuned by rick last year. And not had one problem so far with my car.

Oh Yea, when you do get everything worked out, I think we need to run each other. lol

Your from spartanburg to?? It would be a good run I think..

Take your car to Pro-Dyno. It's beside Carowinds on the NC/SC border. They are hands-down the best SCT tuner in the area. pro-dyno dot com.
