I was wondering if anyone else with a 99-04 mustang is having a problem with the frame in the rear of the car....I have a 2002 gt and just discovered that the frame is broke on the pass. side....the car is not a drag car but just a stock daily driver....anyone with info please help

Well, there is no frame. The car is a unibody. I think you should descibe exactly what is broken. If you can, post a picture.

Of course since it is broken it will need to be fixed but if we can figure out what is broken then we can give you advice on how to fix it, how much it will cost, and what your options are for the replacement part.

:stupid:
good call trout- post pics crazy.

sorry about that.....it is broke where the floor part of the subframe meets the torque boxes.....It looked to me like the weld that connects the two broke and it started ripping .......sorry no pics yet going to the dealership where I bought it to let them look at it to see if they will do anything about it since the car only has 61k miles and I have the ford extra care warranty left on it

I took my car to the dealership I bought it and turns out the car has had this problem before....the service manager said he thought they was something wrong with the whole cars underbody.....They kept the car for the ford rep to look at......who knows where it will go from there...
