i am driving to missouri in themorning to pick up an 87 mustang gt i purchased and i am wondering if these cobra wheels i have will fit (17X9) i have heard that i may have problems in the front is this true? does anyone really KNOW for sure because if they will I am going to take them with me
I dont know if this will help but I run 03 cobras (17x9). I have 245/45/17 on the front and 275/40/17 in the rear. Only thing I know that i dont prefer is the way the 245 tapers on the rims. When I was putting the front wheels on I had to tap in the grease cap to make the center cap go on.
If your car is stock height you will have no problems . I had 17x9's on my 89 with 245/45/17's with no rubbing issues . However when I changed out my stock suspension and went with a Pro-kit I had serious rubbing issues and ended up selling the 17x9's .
