I was wondering what people use for hauling bikes on their SN95 stangs? I just got back from a 1000+ mile drive, with two bikes on a trunk rack. Frankly, I wanted to throw that worthless peice of junk out on the interstate, but that would have been littering. Now my bikes are scratched and dinged, and I have new scratches in my trunk to go with it.
I've been thinking either get a reciever on my car to do reciever-hitch racks, or do a roof rack system. Lotsa money, either way. Any ideas? I've seen some threads by the fox guys ripping each other to peices for having a rack, having an reciever, having a roof system, having a bicycle, or even daring to suggest one might endanger their 'stang by associating it with a bicycle. Any suggestions, or pics, would be good.
FWIW, I have side-ported exhaust. So clearance for a reciever shouldn't be a problem at all.

a roof rack is the way to go, i am the only one in my family that is into biking, so one bike fits pretty nicely in the trunk, but for multiple bikes, go with either a thule or yakima roof rack. IMO w/ yakima you are paying for the name brand and not the rack itself, you get a lot more bang for your buck with thule!
