Billet Flywheel? needed?

How necessary do you guys think it really is to have a billet SFI flywheel?
Never gonna go to track
Never gonna spin it past 6,000rpm

Will be putting about 550hp to the flywheel with a 100shot of nitrous though.


What do you think?

i doubt you need it, just for racing sake you would need it, or just for extra insurance it could be worth it, think of the damage a shattered flywheel can do..

Well I'm using a McLeod scatter shield since the stock aluminum TKO bellhousing are currently unavailable,
so if it does come apart at least it should stop it.
