I am about to order bilstein struts and shocks and I have found two different part numbers, v36-4138-h1 and v36-4138-h3. Is there any difference between these two part numbers? These are both for the front struts.

if i am not mistaken the bilstein dropped their last modle... the H1.. the H3 is the "new" HD, which i believe WAS the bil sport. if i remember correctly all lines dropped down 1 step for naming, buit the parts list kept the corrisponding number. so the H1 was the older... get the h3.

Not to hijack, but I see your PHB going in this weekend. You're going to **** when you ride in the car after it goes in.

Totally different animal after the PHB.

+1 The H1 and H3 are the same. I got mine 2 weeks ago and the barcode sticker said H1, but the part # stamped into the metal read H3. I called Bilstein and they confirmed this.

H3s are in and the ride is fantastic.
