Bilsteins coming in

I installed Eibach Sportlines a year ago. Took too long to get my alignment and c/c plates installed. The mechanic messed something up because the 2 spacers on the driver's side strut shaft bounce and bump into each other causing a very annoying sound and the car isn't even aligned correctly. I bought the bilstein HD's for all around because everybody recommended for a lowered stang. I'll be doing the install myself, does anybody have any idea why the spacers crash together and if I even need them?

have the mechanic redo it, just a guess but i don't think he locked down the strut nut enough or missed a spacer

You will love the Bilsteins. I did the springs and shocks/struts with a few buddies. Not a bad job if you have the right idea. Enjoy!
