So this is the start of my project it is a one owner black on black pony that will need some love .The history purchased by dentist after college was his until purchased by me.Some of the issues was parked for several years and mice got into car and it smells.horrible some electrical issues but still a good car with issues and general neglect .

Whats first all suspension is out the window as are brakes exhaust control arms in general if its under the car its out of there

Second order is motor need more power

Parts that have been purchased as of so far
KYB AGX Front strut rear shocks
Steeda aluminum lower control arms
Front and rear sway bars eibach
Cobra calipers
Power stop rotors
Stifflers trans x memeber
Stifflers k brace
Strut tower brace
Braided brake lines
Prothane motor mounts
Prothane trans mount
BBK h pipes
Hotchkis upper control arms
Lmr.e brake cables
S&W sub frame connectors
Aje front control arms
SN95 master cylinder
SN95 brake booster
Ford racing 4.10 gears
Every new bushing

Not alot of progress made today but got my hands on some Mach 1 wheels the tires are junk wont work for me but will work for now

Well killing time had this 160 mph speedo kickin around out of a 1988 .I heard over the years could be made to fit the later years 89 and up but I cant bring myself to carve it up to make it fit

I would not hack that up. Fit will be so-so.

Putting it in would be a novelty really as how often would you blitz past 140mph?

I wont be using it to much work to destroy a good part

Well it cant all be sunshine and lollipops I knew there were two cracks in pan under drivers seat .But I did not expect the bailing wire holding the front seat bolt in ?

That cracking sucks. Cracks are way easier to fix than rust though.

Man, I really should've painted my cobra booster before putting it in....it was just too cold to paint when I installed mine.

I should have painted my booster better paint fish eyed but is what it is she aint no show pony shes a go pony

Slow going progress at this time but a new items arriving every other day spending money like its going out of style .new shiny MM caster plates.Soon all will come together

If you just have cracking in you rear pan it's easy enough to weld up. Any rot back there?

Replace the cross brace though. It's not that hard and the panel is pretty cheap as well. https://lmr.com/item/LRS-10692/1979-93-Mustang-Floor-Pan-Seat-Brace

Your subframe connectors will help keep the floor from cracking again, I assume they have they seat brace?

That 160 mph speedometer is from an ssp (police package) mustang. There is one of those speedometer on eBay right now starting at $410. Don't cut it......(I know you said you weren't going to). They are desirable...

No rust just cracks and bailing wire

Ok bought a AGR 712581 States for a 79-84 but for the price I paid brand new damm thing showed up with bent line was going to send back but damm if the number on this unit is SPR-ZM
The bushings are the wrong size for my 91 and I dont think has limiters but easy remody for both items

Slow pace replaced all the hard lines on the rack and found one of the white seals missing .I am not that impressed with AGR they re use old hard lines on my unit that were pitted .Unisteer shaft

More slow progress installed new clevis , tilt column and some misc items on the front end
