Yes, if you have amber bulbs for the clear corners, because othwise i think they will show up white, which is illegal

Check with some state agency to make sure. However, if you can create the same lighting as with regular lights, I don't see how a cop would notice a difference (in the night time).

also, people get away with those crazy GTS light covers, and those things are like super opaque! you can barely see through them, and the let minimal light thru. my brother had them on his old white 94' v6, and they were useless so we sold them, then he got clear coners and he was happy, lol

The lenses on those are not smoked, just the plastic trim around the reflector is.

The only part about them that is not illegal is the lack of an amber reflector. WIth an ambler light bulb, it will light up amber at night, but the law requires vehicles have an amber reflector up front that will reflect the amber color when another vehicles lights hit it.

Those light above will reflect white.

Now even though a cop could write you up for it, i really doubt anyone will.

Keep the stock headlights though if you have a rigorous inspection procedure. If the tech is on his toes, they will not pass

yeah, you could just as easily buy the 01+ stock headlights that have the smoked effect and have amber reflctors and stuff!

I like the ones that are posted better than the stock 01+ stock.
The white reflectors are nice. Back in 2001, we had to remove the amber reflectors to get a cleaner look.

Been driving my mustang for more than three years now without a ticket. It also has white light bulbs for turn signals. It may just be luck, but I have not experienced any problems with it.

If you ask any law enforcement agency about the legality of the lights, you'll probably get this response; "you will get cited for these aftermarket lights." I guess it's just a chance you will or will not take. Keep your old lights just in case

I think i've decided that this is too much trouble (money and installation) just to get rid of the yellow on my headlights.

BTW r281 those look pretty nice.

I know in Ohio, the reflector doesn't have to be amber, just an amber bulb. The only laws regarding reflectors are the red reflectors on the rear that must be visible from 500' to the rear with ample light at night.

I have smoked headlights with clear corners and the sylvania silverstar bulbs. With these bulbs, when they're not lit, they're "blue-ish". When lit, they're amber, it's really cool.

And no, cops don't look at em......just the nasty altezza's.
