Hey guys so I'm thinking of putting black decals on my black Faleen. Anyone have any pictures of what it might look like?? Any thoughts, comments, suggestions?? I think that it would look pretty bad ass.
I thought that the saleen side stripes are flat black with a slight sheen to them. Ive seen flat black racing stripes on a black car and it looks pretty bad a$$. I thought about doing this with my black stang but went with silver, but to tell you the truth, if I had more manhood I would have taken the risk. I powdercoated my silver speedlines gloss black and thought about the black graphics. Now that I read this posting, I wish I woulda done it just for the heck of it while I had the black rims on. Now I have silver 99-04's on, so the silver stripes seemed more fit, but heck maybe after I see yours I would black out my graphics. PICS Please
I am another who is not a fan of the idea. I just dont think it will look right. Keep the silver stripes. They lend a great contrast to a black car & will hold to the traditional Saleen look. Jst a thought.
No pics yet, my motor is being built right now and my car is not in my possesion. But when I get it back I'll see how it looks. Maybe I can photoshop it before I do it.
I say do it!!! but in my opinion.... order the decals in reflector black!
It would look metal when light shines on it and it will look stealth when its not directly at it.
