I'd so don't do it. A lot of people do it, and I've seen a lot of pictures, and none of them have looked good to me. Why would you want to seperate the tails from the rest of the car? I don't get the difference between that, and Euro's really.

IMO...Do the real Saleen Covers. They're not that expensive, and change the look for the better. They are also much more agressive looking than just painting the stock tails black, the saleen covers have a nice fat look. Here's mine which I body matched on the color...

i want a pair, where can i get em at?

I got mine directly from Saleen. But I just looked on their site and they don't seem to be listed anymore. Maybe try the classifieds here and on the corral, ebay, or contact Saleen for a lead on some. I remember when I ordered them it took like 6-8 months to get them though.

I did mine because the stock paint looked pretty horrible and the lenses were terribly glazed over. For the first couple days, I thought it looked a bit like a racoon, but I've since grown to like them. Not to mention they look much better than they did.

I think it depends on the color/theme of the car. I KNEW it would look better on my car to do it ..... since I have opal frost with black bullitt wheels, tint, black mirrors, black pony, black rain guards, and soon to be black inserts for the bumper. It made the rear of my car look A LOT better. I'll try to get a pic up .....

Thats what I was thinking. I have black wheels, bumper inserts, want tint. My car is laser metalic red though.
