Hey guys, does anyone have black tinted headlight covers or the Cobra R tinted headlights (pics)? I've seen some pictures and think they would look sick on my black GT. How much? And do they limit you only to day driving or are they the same as normal headlights. (useable at night?)

The 2000 Cobra R and 01+ headlights are the same.

Maybe you're right... Brothers Performance states that their Head lamp units are tinted and they look darker, oh well, they're too expensive anyways. What about the black covers?

Sorry to answer a question with a question, but why would you want to put headlight covers on your already tinted headlights? I had them for awhile on my stang, but they broke when I took them off one night. I then decided to pull the ol' headlight switch from a 03 stang. Save your money, the covers aren't worth their weight in shiot!

It's not the headlight that's tinted, it's the plastic are around the reflector that's black and gives them the look of being tinted. The 01+ headlights and the 00 cobra R lights are the same thing.

I'm gonna get them soon. Some people hate them, some love them. I think it looks great. I wouldn't drive at night with them on, but it takes 30 seconds to remove them or put them back on.

The headlight covers are awesome. This kid I know has them on his 98 cobra. It makes the car look so sick, I think they would look awesome on any black stang.

Personally I love them. I never drive at night, but if I did I would have to take them off.

jrc 03 gt, that's sick! My stangs black, too, and that would be awesome! I wasn't sure if they were exactly removable. I want to get black deepdish bullitts, and I thought the headlight covers would complement it nicely, not to say the paintjob wouldn't. And it's not an expensive mod, some people blow their money on worse things. And JCKNIFE, those rims are awesome. I'm glad that they're at least shiny... Thanks guys.

they come off very easy just pop the hood and remove. They just snap into place.
