Back to Black .. works great on that cowl part between your hood and windshield, and on the mirrors, but doesn't work so well on the black window trim..

It's like $3 go pick up a bottle at WalMart

back to black only lasts a little while, just get trim paint, tape it off and paint it....it will last [nearly] forever!

I use 1Z Rubber/vinyl care. It was made to resist car washing and rain. It wont run down the side of the car like lexol does. It is great stuff!!
1Z Rubber/vinyl care
Plus it cleans and protects in one step. I have to reapply it every 3 or 4 weeks.

Back to Black works okay for me (not a huge difference but its better than nothing).

Don't get it on your waxed job (it takes wax off) also I find everytime I do a carwash now the back to black will "run" a path from the rubber-window-moldings.... annoying to say the least.

i use eagle 1 tire shine, works awsome!!! people are always asking me if i replaced the rear quarter panel glass weatherstriping because 5.0's are known for that rotting out. i just put a small dab of it on a towel then apply it. try it you won't be dissapointed!

If the moldings are faded or dull use forever black, it's a dye that will stain the moldings black. Then use the other stuff mentioned above.

This is how 1Z Tiefengleger looks. And yes it is the best product for removing wax residue on trim. It lasts for weeks!!
It does NOT wash off when it rains or when you wash the car.
I know the pictures are of my truck.

back to black is pretty good stuff but it does need to be reapplied every now and then.

we used it when i ran a small detailing business and customers could never believe the difference in their black trim... but we did reccomend that they purchase their own bottle and maintain the finish also... either that or bring it back monthly and pay us to do it again.
