you could always try it yourself with some light auto tint. just cut out a piece and spray a little bit of water on there so it sticks to the water. (dont peel the backing off the tint untill you know if you want it there) and dont forget to post pics

I think this i what you're looking for. I had the same idea about a month ago. Bought some lamin-x lense protectant in their smoked version. Lamin-x.com. Then bought some glow gauges off ebay.

The glow gauges were kinda ****ty though, they made the needles get stuck from time to time. So now I'm gonna work with the factory gauges and run white leds behind them and get the green film behind them so they light up white like a Lexus.

Mine did that too. What I did was get the THINNEST double sided tape I could find and stuck them down in the middles where it was raised and catching the needles.

That looks like it would be tough to see during the day. Is that the case? I didn't use any thing on the bottom of my gauge faces. I found that just a few pieces of tape around the perimeter would keep it inline and wouldn't interfere with the needle functions.

I think it would be hard to see, I have tinted oil pressure and water temp gauges and they are fine at night, but during the day they are a littl hard to see, but I can still see them.

You'd most likely benefit from having some kind of back light running during the day (when the headlights are off).
