Hey guys, my car has been detonating and loosing antifreeze latly and i pulled the spark plugs, and did a leak down test and came to the conclution that my HG's are blown.

Im gona start to fix it on my own in about 2 weeks. I already ordered the head gaskets, but i was woundering what other gaskets and things i would need to do this on my own. Im assuming new intake gaskets, and exhaust manifold gaskets... but what else?

any extra input would be extremely helpfull

thanks

new head bolts or head studs
a tube of silicone
maybe thread loc for the header bolts (unless you have aluminum heads)
razor or something similar to scrape the old gaskets off
new antifreeze
i usually do 2 oil changes after doing HG's first one let it warm up and then change it to get all the antifreeze out of the oil and the second batch stays in
hummmmm cant think of anything much else right now..
