I’m having a problem with my blinkers… they don’t work. I’m not sure what the problem is but the flashers do work. I do know that when I turn the flashers on they work and you can hear the relay working also. Do the flashers and blinkers use the same relay? I need help.

I’m not sure if this relates with the problem but I did install aftermarket euro gauges a few months ago. To power them I put the power wire (of the gauges) into the dimmer switch plug and then put the plug back together. Could that be the problem….

No, they have separate flashers. I have a 92 and the signal flasher is behind the glove box on the left side.

If the flasher doesn't fix it, you may need a turn signal switch...they aren't that hard to replace.

thanks guys. do you where the blinker relay/switch? is located, i have a 91 notchback...

Did you check the blinker fluid? They stop working when the fluid gets low.

(joke btw)
