Blinking Lights!!!

i would look for non stock wiring and a relay that is not stock (just floating around under the dash). probably a bosch type black relay, looks nothing like a ford unit. listen for a relay clicking when the lights are flashing (hard since the buzzer is goin off. you can disconnect the buzzer wiring if you ever have the bottom of the steering column cover off, BTW).

the place most installers tap into parking lights is under the dash. you may need to remove the driver side kick panel. IIRC, it is a brown stock wire that is tapped into. some installers get power from the light switch itself. might be worth popping the switch out and see if there is another wire jammed or tapped in.

mainly listen for the relay clicking. find it, pull any or all wires. i would just use a test light and see if i can find a wire that feeds 12 volts in either terminal 85 or 86. that is the input for the lights flash. pull it, and the relay will never be activated again. tape up any wires disconnected. disconnecting either 85 or 86 will kill the relay (they are the terminals that do the switching for the relay). one is power and one is ground. i like to pull the power, but either will work.

i dont see how this is the only thing that happens. it would need the brain to even flash, unless some rube wired into the door pins, so that if the door opens, it goes off (a non electronic anti theft device). maybe there was a siren or the horn wired in as well, now gone????
and if you find a brain, you can do many things, but easiest may be to pull the fuses to the main power to it (if you dont want to cut wires).
