I need a set of block off plates for the crossover pipe located on the back of the heads. Is there a common part that matches up I can use for the plates or do I just fab one? Can I even get to these without pulling the heads off the car?

I have a bad "exhaust" leak coming from the drivers side...

If you feel on the back of the head, you can feel the bolt holding the crossover tube in. I dont think it takes a plate to block it off...Im almost positive its the same type of threaded insert that goes into the front of the heads for the acc. brackets.

Wanna be sneaky? Take the crossover tube off, cut the pipe off and then reverse the ends (right on left head, left on right head) and bolt them down. No cost to you, seals them right up and nothing else needed. You can do this without removing much else, I would recommend a good 6 point wrench for taking the bolt out the first time so you dont round it off.
