I just purchased a Boss 302 block and saw that there was an ARP main stud kit for $130, is this a worthwhile upgrade and what is involved with installation
ARP bolts and studs are always a good upgrade. installation is rather easy, just screw the studs in place finger tight. do not torque them down as you will cause problems later on. once you are ready to install the main caps, you torque the nuts down after coating the threads and washer with either engine oil or ARPs thread lube.
