Block suggestions

So im wanting a block that will hold up to 800hp but not cost me completely out the ass. But will last more then a month. My car will only be a weekend driver. I kinda want to stay small block but ive always loved a 390.

haha no i just was saying. like ive seen some horrible stroker kits that dont last for anything. I want my engine to last a long time more then a month....there

I assume your NA, I'd look at a DART SHP block.

If a stroker kit didnt last, it probably had something to do with how it was assembled.

No aftermarket block will be cheap. If you want a cheap hobby, take up somthing else now before you are out of the kiddy pool

+1 What Rick said. I am waiting for mine right now. 331 with Forged internals. Bare block was about 1700.00. You can get the big bore block for about the same price has a 4.125 bore. You will end up with a 363 i think.
