Just posted on turboford, figured i would double post for the later searcher's sake. When/if you convert to a blow thru vam setup...be extra extra careful. Most searching will lead you to believe you have to adjust the vam spring to make it leaner......this Does Not Apply Accross the board!
I've had to 'loosen' mine a few notches to counter pinging. Luckily my motor is fresh and has a decent headgasket...else damage could have been worse. Anyways...move along.
