Blower Motor Switch Resistor Location

I need to replace the blower motor switch resistor, does anyone know where it is located?

2001 GT...

under the glove box, near the blower motor. i think 2 bolts hold it in

That's where it is. I helped a friend diagnosis a probelm with his fan this past winter. His was located on the fan under the hood on the passenger side. He has a Ford Ranger. It look's like you will have to remove the grove box to get to it. Pick up a repair manual to aid you with testing it. Pearl02.

i dont remember taking my glove box out to do mine, just had to lay in an awkward position on the passenger side floor

I haven't had to repair mine in the Stang. The Haynes repair manual I have stated that. That's great that you don't have to pull the dash or glove box apart to get to it. Thanks for the info. Pearl02.
