Blowing Out Spark

Hey guys in the upper rpms my car blows the spark out. I am going to the track tomorrow should i go out and by the msd blaster coil for a quick fix because i still have the stock coil?

sounds like you need a new coil or something else is wrong

Not sure how you know that thats the problem, but if it is, just gap the plugs smaller. I gap mine at .035 so that they dont blow out above 10 psi....

I just read your sig and it wouldn't hurt to be using some MSD or Crane stuff

The intank fuel pump could be causing some problems at that power level with boost.

Why do you think it is spark related, and not a fuel problem?

MSD coil won't hurt your situation, but it may not solve this problem.

At 8 pounds of boost (turbo) I have mines gapped at 30 and I'm running a msd 6al. What is the gap on your plugs?

gap is .035 got the coil put it in didn't solve the problem. Im thinking now it could be timing related because we adjusted the timing today. NO word of a lie it was at 21 degrees of base timing and we brought it down to 14 now the car breaks up at the higher rpms. I dont no why though. Something is going on. The intake pump is also fine. The car was on the dyno and the air/fuel reading was right at 12:1.
