alright so i have a 2002 gt and when i bought it it never blew any smoke.. i removed the cats last month and i noticed it would blow a whitish smoke. the odd part about removing the cats was i never got a check engine light which was supposed to happen..? but anyway the smoke seems to mainly come when i let it idle for a while and then rev it. but if it stays revving for a while there is no smoke.. its like it builds up or something? and the car runs great... it doesnt seem like its running worse since the cat delete at all what could cause this? im lost and i have absolutely no idea where to start .. any help would be appreciated.. Thanks!

Some guys get lucky and don't get a CEL with the cats removed.

White smoke is either coolant burning, or water vapor. I'd keep and eye on your coolant level and temp gauge for a while.

White smoke and blue smoke can be VERY difficult to distinguish. I believe that I have that same problem as you do, but in my case it is very minor (which started when I removed my cats as well).

You most likely have leaking valve guide seals. It is oil that you are burning, not coolant. It is not a big deal at all. You are burning very very very small amounts of oil and the cost to repair the problem is far greater than it is worth. If the smoke bothers you, try using a thicker oil. There is no risk of damage.

Both my gt and my cobra did this when I went to an or x pipe. Cobra only has 90k and smokes when u start it and smokes of you get on it hard. I never have to add oil or coolant so must not be too bad now my gt has 330k+ and smokes less but uses about a qt every 1500 miles.

Most likely valve stem seals as mentioned. That, or blow-by in the PCV system.

Nothing to be too concerned about as long as you aren't using much oil and your coolant isn't going away/car running hot.

Yep and I have ran the balls off of it! Usually let oil changes Goto 10/11k miles and its had
3 bottles of n20 through if AFTER 330k feels just as strong as it did when it had 130k on it.

A tune might help, you could be running a little rich after removing your cats.
