How to you install the BMW side blinkers on a Mustang?

Cut fenderwell. Run wire from sidemarkers to signals or to signal relay. Done.

how much do you have to cut? i know there are already holes in the fenders for the stock emblems

You don't, you just buy a BMW. Thats about as bad as a Civic with the BMW Z3 "turbo vents" on the side of it
