:D The trip was a blast. But I was way off on the gas money cost going over and back. wow. 3.19 a gallon for super and up. Cost me 34.77 just one way. The problem might have been the thing on the right side of the bike called a throttle. Made it back from Meridian to my house in Scappoose in 6 hours 15 min. You do the math cause I can't.
Put it this way, takes me 8 hours in the truck doing 75mph. Took lots of vids, some pics but all in all the races were great. Mustangs, mopar, chevys, rails, funny cars, beaters and of course my favorite, 03 and 04 Cobras. They were doing very low 12's and the best the 03 Sonic Blue did at that track was 11.77 on mt steets. 2700' elevation too. Low 11 second car in Portland I'll bet.

:D This black BMW and I ran together for about 7-8 min in Idaho doing 95-110 mph. What a rush. NO cops to be found. Very little traffic. Small town call Lime, big wide sweeping corners, 95 easy, Cabage hill, 95 going up and around the turns. I don't get a chance to do this very often and would not do this around town. So when the chance comes, I take it. So when does anyone want to get together and do a road trip? Ed, I know where you can get a used R-1 like right now!!!!!

 CONGRATS ON YOUR 11 SECOND RUN ED!!!! Did anyone happen to get it on tape?

The highway from Boise to McCall is a nice one for a day of spirited driving! Though a couple weeks ago we got a ticket there. :(
Tickets in Idaho sure are cheap though. It was for 72 in a 55 and the ticket was $62. LOL, hardly worth paying.
