Well i have been having a vibration, haven't found it in 3 months of replacing mounts, u-joints, having driveshaft balance, etc.... Now since i was out earlier today trying to learn the heel toe burnout, 2nd gear, after the Nittos got hot, i tried to practice my launching (private road) and after leaving, making a right hand turn i have kinda a clunking....

I am just looking for some ideas on what to look for, gonna put the car in the air in the morning, What should i check .....

I am planning on checking

lower control arms for loose bolts
DS
u-joints,
tranny mount
uppers
springs (sitting correctly)?

frankly thats all i can think of, so give me a checklist guys......

I was planning my first track trip since the eddy install ad fuel upgrades tonight too......

Thanks guys

I"m betting your catback is hitting the rear bodyrail when it goes up like mine did. Or it is slipping out of the rubber hangers. Or the rubber hangers are worn out on the H-pipe and the H-pipe is swinging around.

Do you have stock axles? If so, you might have broke something. You said the rear end make a clunk noise, and only when you're turning right. Could it have something to do with the differential?

Have you checked the axle bearings?...Jack it some and muckle on to the tires, go L/R ,up/down...any slop would indicate the axle bearings...

Check your rear sway bar, mine snapped where it bolts to the LCA. Happen when I made a right hand turn into a driveway. Got a Cobra bar to replace it. It could be that.

my guess would be your axles. seen some stock ones, twist or bend after a hard launch on DR's.

then again i had my rear swat bar break also after launching into an insane donut.

if it was the axle the car wouldn't drive too well, and wouldn't leave a black mark upon spinning the tires would it.?

I ahve the same clunk and I am 95% sure it si due to ly LCA bolts on the axles being bad.. they were corroded in when I pulled everything apart and now I get the occasional clunk.
