Just bought another 302 to turn into a 331 for my 1989 GT. Im going to get it using a engine stand, but I have no bolts to mount it to the stand. I need to know what size bolts to get. Thanks for any help.

If I'm not mistaken, they're 7/16-14. They're the same size as your bellhousing to block bolts.

7/16" is correct, depending on your engine stand, you may be able to use a few headbolts if you have them laying around.

Your head bolts and possibly some washer will work just fine, it all depends on your engine stand arm.

More than strong enough.

Some 7/16" nuts, threaded rod and a hacksaw can do a fine job to make some custom fasteners.
