I am working on a stock 5.0 that has some driveabiltiy issues. What should the fuel pressure be at idle with the vacuum hooked up at teh regulator? With vacuum disconnected and plugged?
I could not find and answer to this when I did a search. Everyone seems to have different injectors, adjustable regulators, and diferent pumps. Please help.

THanks I thought that is what is shoudl be. I am getting a reading of 27, so I don't know if it is the pump or possibly the regulator is going bad.

The spec is 30+ PSIG at idle with the vac line attached. If you have fuel line crimpers, you can carefully crimp the return line. If pressure goes up, that suggests the regulator might be at fault. If pressure stays low, I'd think pump or inlet line restriction.

Good luck.
