Borla all the way!! I had magnapack before the borla. I have heard the regular magnaflow's and I had the packs. They have a nice idle but thats about it. The tone never changes as the rpm's go up its starts off nice and deep but it never really sounds good up top. The packs were loud but the tone sounded as if the tailpipes were packed with cotton. Borla has a nice deep idle and as the rpm's rise you get a crisp loud roar. Ohh by the way the magnapacks droned just as bad as flowmasters my Borla XR-1's are MUCH louder than the packs with very very little drone.

make sure you do a midpipe with either one. they will both be a bit tame. With an off road pipe I think both sound great. borla just has a nice distictive growl.

I have borla super turbos(reg borlas) and a magnaflow x w/cats. Very quiet at idle and low rpm's but when you get to about 3500 RPM it screams. I get comments all the time. Minimal drone. Actually the low level of drone is decieving as outside you a making a lot of noise and dont realize it. Never heard magnaflows in person so I cant really compare the two. I don't think you would be disappoined with borla.

Borlas are great, no doubt, but for the money, Magnaflow has the same quality, same performance, just a different sound.

I have the same set up with the stock H and inside the car it's not very loud. This last weekend I let my friend drive my car and the Borla's sound mean. They are alot louder than I thought. I had Flows on my old stang and thought they were loud, these seem like they are louder but alot smoother. No cracking or popping just a loud, smooth roar at wot. I was impressed.

I vote Magnaflow MagnaPacks, sound soild at idle and it screams at WOT with no drone at all. Heard flows on an 2000 gt and it sound good too. also heard borlas on an 2001 gt sounds bad@$$ too. which ever way you go you will not lose out.
