Has anyone ever tried these spark plugs. They are only $4 a piece and just by looking at the way they are designed they seem like they would give a better spark than the Motorcrafts.

never tried them. honestly the motorcraft/autolite plugs are perfectly fine. i just switched out the stock platnium plugs at 68,000 in my panther and put in the autolite 764 coppers and the car starts up a little quicker, and feels like it has some more power than before. ive heard bad things about bosch plugs in anything but a german car. besides, i got 8 of the 764's for like $10 at Pep Boys.

I wouldn't run them in my Cavalier. The Bosch plugs are worthless. The dual tips aren't for performance at all. It can only fire to one at a time anyway. The purpose of two is so that the spark can take the path of least resistance. If you keep your plugs in good condition you won't have any problems with Motorcraft or other plugs.
