had an accident in the mustang. all the suspension and brake parts are salvagable, but the car isnt. i came to the conclusion that i couldnt have a car like mine for a daily driver a couple months ago. the accident only reinforced this.

dont worry, i will buy another stang. it will be made into a track only car, ill put the nastiest mod motor i can find in there and it will be a SN95, preferably so i can resuse my license plates (i had a 98 mustang GT and my plates were 98P51GT).

so heres what i bought. a 2004 Volvo S60-R 6 speed. the car has a 2.5L inline 5 with a fairly large turbo that puts out 14.7psi of boost stock. they are rated at 300hp and 287lb-ft of torque. the car is AWD, has Brembo 4 piston calipers on all 4 corners, the dampeners are made by Ohlins, and adjust 100 times a second. it has adjustable suspension settings from inside the car. when put in Advanced mode, the computer also adjusts fuel mapping and throttle response for sportier driving.

the car has some slight understeer. you can feel the difference when you change modes. the brake pedal isnt as firm as the mustang, but i will be putting in braided lines soon. the brakes on this car shouldve been factory on the Cobra.

under 20. i bought it from my work. the sad thing is that this is faster, handles better, stops quicker, and is a hell of a lot more comfortable than my mustang.

Looks good man Have any interior shots? I imagine that alone makes it much better than the mustang.

as requested, some additional shots.

the 3 best buttons on the car

engine shot

the massive trunk, yes thats a 24 pack of Rockstar Guava

the drivers seat

the shifter and gauges

the backseat (the headrests are folded down so i can see out the back better. theres a button to shoot them down, works great when people in the back dont shutup)

the volvo will stay pretty stock. i think all i'm gonna do are braided stainless brake lines and a catback.

the mustang will be a track car to let my jollies out.
