Just ordered a stall from Lenny at ultimateconvert. He suggested for what I have and for what I'm going to do in the future that I go with a 3200rpm (my peak Tq is at 3,500rpm) stall non locking converter. He is going to build it and I should have it in a few weeks. Next I'm going to be getting a new valve body.

List of mods this year.

J-moded Valve body
3200 stall
MM full length sub frames
make the car look like a sleeper

Congrats! I went from a best of 13.35 @ 104 to a 12.72 @ 105 after the converter and valve body. That’s with the converter stalling around 3200rpms. Don’t forget to get your car tuned after the install or it will shift weird.

Cool cool. That's what my aim always has been with my car, hence sneaky98gt It's what I like about the FRPP supercharger I'm putting on; if you don't look closely, you wouldn't even notice it was there.

Nice what gears are you running? Also how is it just driving around the street?

373 gear. Before I got it tuned the transmission would shift at strange rpm’s, almost as if it was confused. After I had the transmission parameters changed via the tune, it drove better than stock.

Sounds good. Is your converter a locking or non locking?

Is that the guy that hides under the intake, and the pulley is under the alternator?

I’m running a B.C. Automotive single disc billet lock up converter. I have it locking up in 3rd gear and overdrive.

That would be it. I love how hidden it is. I'm still gathering needed supporting mods, but I'll hopefully be starting the install in about a month. I'll be sure to keep everyone updated when I do.

Order from ultimateconverter.com, Lenny knows what he is doing and custom makes all his converters for what you want. Also his price is very good. He was telling me how Susan Roush has him make her converters. He does a lot of work with Roush and high HP race cars.

Don't know never been to the track. Its about a 2+ hour drive to the nearest one. I just want a fun street car. With the stall I should be in the mid to low 12s.

That sucks your track is so far I guess I am lucky! Your car will run really good with a new converter and if you ever go to the track post your times!
