Bought her a black on black BMW X3 2.5, premium package, most options, with 41k on it. Really nice car, and it'll last us many years. Its perfect for the wife and will be awesome in the winter.

I had my eyes on a 2002 M3 Vert but I already have two cars, so I left it well alone. We almost went with a Mercedes C class with 35k on the clock. It wasn't sporty or fast but it was damn nice and I could have got it for a silly price. Wouldn't have been great in the snow though.

This means I'm selling that POS Ford Escort shes been driving for the last 7 years!! Thank god!! I cant wait to get rid of it. That car sucks.
Pretty good upgrade for the wife though, Escort to X3. Shes really happy. We'll get in the next couple of days, and I'll take some pics.

dude, that would have been awesome if you got an m3. my sister has an 04 m3, that thing is just simply a machine. No offense to anyone, but that is the toughest, strongest, and best handling car i have ever driven in my life. and even with about 80K miles on her, that thing still drives like new. but then again, its a BMW, so it better.

Nothing beats a german DD! We had a 2000 323CI and it was the smoothest quietest nd best handling car I have ever owned! Loved it alot. They are insane when it comes to maintaining tho! And I NEVER would trust the manual telling me only change oil every 15k miles! I changed mine with mobil one synthetic and I think it took like 7 1/2 quarts or something and the replacement filter element was like almost 20 bucks. And that was from AZ! But you will really enjoy it, do your self a favor and get the tool to reset the service light after each oil change if you do it yourself, bout 150 bucks on ebay.

they are alright. two of my friends in hawaii had them and they had electrical issues. seems the biggest complaint with german vehicles is the electrical.
