I bought some Meguiars Gold Plus Carnuba Paste wax today and I wanted to try it out.

I needed to detail it for the Texas Mile on saturday, and I just found out it's supposed to rain on thursday

It really made the stang shine!

Here's my collection of detail stuff see the seafoam? haha

Swirls and fine scratches can be removed with a light polish. After you polish you will want to make sure you put a coat of wax over it. Deeper swirls and scratches will requier the use of a machine, Porter cable, or rotary buffer with the proper pads.

Car is looking good. I would recommend the Meguires NXT 2.0 Tech Wax. I've never used the Gold Class, but I think the Tech Wax is supposed to be a step above. It is certainly the best wax I've ever used, and at less than $20 a bottle, it doesn't break the bank either.

I've got a nice little collection of my own that is growing pretty quickly. I also have some questions about a few different things on my car that need to be fixed. Once I get some pics, I'll definitely be posting over there/awaiting your response.
