Just wanted to give a quick mention of my experience at Brad's Custom Auto...I trailered the car down there early Wednesday morning and was ready for work to begin at 9:00. It did promptly. It ended up taking longer than I thought -- due to the setup, but the guys there worked through every problem encountered and took the time to remeasure EVERYTHING and make sure the setup was perfect. They kept me in the loop with everything and showed me everything they were doing so I knew exactly what was going on.

Overall, the experience was well worth it. Pricing is more than fair -- about the same price as your average "mom & pop" garage except you get custom work out of it -- and good work on top of it.

In the end I have a rear that has been completely setup by them, and it's damn near silent. I drove the car home, so it only has about 12 miles on it, but worlds better than it was before. I wasn't sure quite what to expect noise-wise with the 4.30's, but I only get a slight whine above certain speeds, which doesn't change pitch or tone -- and that could be more related to the rest of the setup on the car since it's all solid anyway (harmonics, you know?) -- so overall, at this point, I'd say it was an A+ job, and done right. They also back their work as well, and trust me, it's hard to find anyone wnymore who will stand behind their work (I don't envision any problems, but I don't have any time on the rear yet!)

I figure it's a good idea to let others know of my experience, so if you're up in the air about a place to go, I'd say to give them a try -- if they treat you liek they treated me, you'll be all set.

Oh -- almost forgot to thank you guys who said I should give him a call, you were right on. I'm going to take it easy on the setup for a little while, but I'll be out driving around when it's nice out, then heading to the track when I think it's ready -- look for me in my red coupe with Weld wheels, not the orange one in my avatar.

I've been doing business with them for about a year now. They just installed 3.73's in my 93 last monday. They have been more than professional every time we've been in there. I recommend them to anyone that asks where to go.

....and by the way, welcome to the neighborhood.

Hey:

I live in your neighborhood... Look for my Emerald Green 91LX in the Highlands of Mill Creek and stop and say hello sometime...

Brad's has always done me right... Even had one of their guys go home and take wheel spacers off of his car and put them on mine so that I could make it to the races one Friday afternoon... I call that service!

I have said this b4 and will say it again. Brad's is a class act. I go there for little things usually, but they give me mass respect and great service. I always get a good price on parts from them too. I reccomend them every chance I get.

Keep up the great work Brad's

Nothing wrong with Lake City,it is just a humorous thought that some one not knowing the Seattle areas might be in for a culture shock there ( There are real pot hole in the road and YES your car window might get broken if you leave your lap top in the front seat.

Take care,
