Does anyone have experience painting their brake calipers and/or rear brake drums? My rear drums are new but already rusted and i'd like to paint them black or gray. What is some good quality, not too expensive paint? Also whats the best paint for the front calipers? The calipers (SSBC) are basically new and came in black. Would red look good showing through my 17" chrome bullitts? It'd be cool if someone could photoshop my calipers so I could get an idea if it'd look good. I looked in the Eastwood magazine and found their High-Temp Brake Caliper and Drum Coatings which is sold as a kit deal for $40. Or they show the plasti kote Brake Caliper Paint that comes in a spray can for $9. Is Eastwoods kit worth it? Sorry for the long post. Thanks!

I painted drums a long time ago, they looked good for a long time. My calipers are powdercoated.

So as long as its "high temp" paint it will work fine? It doesn't have to say brake caliper paint on it?
