Brake Light Issues

Hello All,

I’m having a problem with a rear brake light.

The passenger rear brake light to be specific. The light will turn on when I turn on the lights but the it will not “Brighten” when I hit the brakes. The driver side works fine but not the passenger. I thought it might be the bulb and switched it out and that did not do the trick. The “Brake” light warning on the dash is also fully illuminated.

Any ideas would be a great help. Thanks.

start by checking the grounds, then check the grounds, grounds, grounds, grounds, and then back track the circuit to the turn signal switch.

Test the socket with a test light ,the turn signal works off the same post in the socket

Do both right and left turn signals work?
