Im looking at FR500 Black chrome rims. Does anyone know if the 18x9 or the 20x8.5 will clear?

ALSO..please list any and All rims besides the stockers that you know FOR SURE will clear Brembo's, including the sizes. Im looking into changing rims but want clearance for the future uprade (see sig).
Thanks

I have yet to see anyone actually try the GT/CS wheels on a brembo car to see if they will or won't clear the brakes and if possibly a small spacer would allow them to clear if they won't.

You would have to check the dealer for the aftermarket wheels to see if they have any info about clearance.

A few wheels that will clear that I know of are the RTR wheels and the 10th anniversary replica wheels that late model resto sells.

Ive been told already that the CS wheels wont without spacers. I was looking at FR500 rims anyway. Most dealers are clueless with what fits what. They just wanna sell their stuff. Any specific sizes needed on the aforementioned rims (RTR and anniversary)? You have pics of those?
Thanks

WEll, as of now, Im looking at 20" spyders from Steeda. I do know for sure they fit large brakes, but I want some other options until I choose.

Here is Silver (my color) with the blacks:

But Im thinking these rims will make the contrast nicer, even on my silver:

Any comments? Keep the wheel suggestions (for brake clearance) coming.
Thanks

I saw these on a $54k Cobra in the showroom yesterday...19's in the front and 20s out back. I think I am going with 20's now

The RTR's only come in 19x9.5 for the Mustang.

The GT500 SVTPP wheels aren't the same wheel and there is only a 20" size for the rear, 19's on front.

Ive decided on the Steeda Spyders...the black with the machined-face (on the red car). 11's out back and 9.5s in the front

I think so...and planning on the SCT/CAI package from them as well as their exhaust. They'd better get me some good pricing!

Thanks for the link...that IS some good pricing, but I got my heart set on the Steeda Axlebacks (by borla) they sound the best Ive heard so far. I dont mind spending a little extra and walking right in to steeda because once they know you, you get some AWESOME service.

Thanks
