hey im gettin the cai and tuner package soon and am gona get the package from either brenspeed or bama chips which is beter?

i went with doug at bamachips ! amazgin tuner guys knows his Sh** NOT to say brent dosnt just choose bamachips before I knew about brenspeed and ive always been happy with them ! On my 5th tune

I've have tunes from both and they both work well. If I were you I'd go with Bama since he will redo the tune for any future mods you may purchase even if you purchase the mods from another vendor. That could save you money in the long run.

yeah, if you buy the tuner from Brenspeed they'll give you a free re-tune for any part you buy from them (aside from power adders and cams). I didn't know bamachips did that.

They're both good tuners. My tune from Bamachips yielded .2-.3 better in the 1/4, however.

Bama all the way. Doug is a great guy that knows a lot about these car's and seems to really care about his customer's. I would rec. him no doubt.

On the computer. It's the silver piece to the left of the radiator in the front of the motor compartment. It'll have a little sticker ontop of it that has your code.

Has anyone compared Doug's race tune to a VMP tune? Either at the track, or on the dyno? If not, I might have to do so. My Bama tune is much better than my Brenspeed tune, but it falls on it's face at launch for a moment. I know Doug can fix it, but I hate emailing him asking him to do more free work. We had a lot of problems trying to get the tune right for our 05 (due to an intake issue) and I feel like I've been quite bothersome.

No comparison but it would be interesting, your right at the 13.0 mark in the 07 right?

Best time was 13.129 and nearly 106mph. I'm getting a new clutch in the next month, so that should drop it down into the 12's, and I'm going to compare my Bama tune to a VMP tune. I'll probably send Doug an email and see if he can fix my bogging issue, once I get another dyno sheet on it. Then again, if my clutch was fried, that could've caused my problem.
