broken power seat.

I have a 2002 GT. power seat stopped working, lumbar still works but the other controls dont.
Has this happend to anyone? how did you fix it?

mine only works if i'm not sitting in the seat. if i stand beside the car and operate the lever, it works. as soon as i sit in the seat it goes nowhere. and NO i'm not a [email protected]$$.

The lumbar compressor fuse is separate from the fuse for the seat position motors.
The seat fuse (30A) is in the fuse box located near the battery.
Another possibility is the seat power connector (under the seat) is partially disconnected.

It's not likely all 3 motors would fail at once; more likely the problem is something that is common to all of them.
