I am working on tracking down a miss fire and over all poor running of the stang. have done all of the test and pulled the intake to take a closer look at the injector harness when i got the intake off i noticed that there is a broken wire. I took off the tape and plastic wrap. The wire comes from the white connector and the wire is solid orange in color. I was wondering if anyone had any idea on what this wire was for. I don't see where it goes and i have took all of the other wires apart in the harness looking for it. I am wondering if the wire is the ground? I didn't take any ground off from either harness.

The solid orange wire is the ground for the O2 sensor heater circuit. Gound it to the back of the cylinder heat or intake manifold.
