bronze guide liners

several places e.g. goodson, k-line sells thin bronz guideliners as a replacement for worn valve guides in cast iron heads.

11/32" CLASSIC Bronze-Liner - 16 pk.

I am wondering if anyone has experience , or any recomendation with using these liners instead of regular thick wall guides, especially how durable are they and if they do not tend to fall off...
Well it is just a rolled sheet metal with about .020" gap (anyway why there is such gap? what about oil leak through it?). Unlike regular guide pressed in at high temp, this guideliner is kept in place only by the tension of .30" bronze which IMO is not enough no matter how I want to believe the sales people or manuals...
