I haven't had a buffer in years. so i haven't buffed my cars equally. I was very happy to just do it by hand since it is garage kept.
I've got a hold of a crafstman 9 inch buffer to use for now. I'd like to buff 3 cars over the weekend.
the deal is I have to go buy the pads. But since i haven't used one in so long i'm not sure what new technology is out there. what new products to use.
Most cars i'll be working on are black or dark blue, and they have some swirl marks, some more than others. the other car i need to work on is white, it has slight oxidation since she is parked in the sun.
I have both mild polish (it may even be a cleaner polish i have to look again) from the dealer ship. I also use klasse all-in-one as my everyday wax.
can someone point me in the right direction as far as pads go? how and what is the norm now as far as pads go? What names do i want? what names do i want to stay away from? what are some things to look for?
