The catch can is really 2 separate tanks. One for oil. And the other is for future use as a water/alcohol set up when I get around to installing my Novi 1000 kit.

Looks good! Did you build the tank too?

And, does the other line go back to the intake, and what stops that line from sucking the accumulated oil back into the intake?

Yes I built the tank as well...

One -10 line from each valve cover to the catch tank. The 3rd bung on the tank is just a line to the floor for now.

The larger -16 an fitting is actually a separate tank. It will be used for water/alcohol injection once the Novi 1000 is hooked up.

I left myself the option of adding a 3rd line to the intake for vacuum. I would just have to find a sufficient 1 way valve after the Novi goes in and boost is added... This car is my true daily driver. So, I can't always go the full race car way when it sees 270-300 miles a week. If my crankcase pressure isn't fixed with this I'll add the line to the manifold. If that dosn't fix it, I have other issues...

So after driving it a few days. I am pretty sure this fixed my crankcase pressure issue. I don't have burnt oil smoke coming though the dash vents anymore... lol.

But, I'm going to try and find a nice PCV valve anyways. I'll place it in the EGR spacer. And run that hose to the fitting that's being used as a vent. Then it will be a completely sealed system with vacuum pulling like it should be.

I have to find one that will handle the abuse of 10psi from the supercharger and fit a -10 hose. And also hopefully have a threaded end so I can tap the EGR spacer and fit it...

Do you still run your charcoal canister? Reason I ask is that if you have any empty real estate on the firewall, I think the lines would look cleaner running back there rather than stretching forward. Just an observation, not knocking your work. The tanks look very well done, and good job creating a fix to your problem.

So I ran a hose from the catch tank to the intake manifold today. No start...

I'm guessing it's seeing this as a large vacuum leak and since I'm still on the stock MAF, this is a no-go.

But dosn't a stock PCV Valve let air flow at idle? Why would this set up not work for me?

Gotta be in front of the TB, or you will have a big assed vacuum leak.

Very good point.

I thought since it was a sealed set up. That wouldn't be an issue. Wrong...
